I am doing some research on the 12-mile house on Wentworth Springs Road
above Georgetown. It was later called Quintette. I am looking for pictures or any information on this area or on the upper country.
My grandfather purchased the 12-Mile House in 1941. I have only found one picture circulating of it. I know all the upper country pioneers stopped here and later knew my grandfather. Someone else must have pictures of something. There was a Barklage sawmill and other things here. I would
love to have any information on this area and pictures, if there are any. I am writing a book about Quintette and the surrounding area, starting from the beginning through my grandfather's years. Thank you.
