Hunting for information regarding the family of Edward Lee (Ned) ALLISON (b.1829 VA) & Mary Allen MOORE (b. 1828, England). Sometime around 1853-54 they arrived in CA, staying on the James BERRY farm in Plymouth. Their oldest son James Albert was born in Plymouth on Nov. 1, 1855, and the family lived ther until 1909 when they moved to Diamond Springs (Eldorado County). I'm also interested in any information regarding the ALLISON descendants, which include the surnames MEYER, WHITE, McGREGOR, FISHER, JOUCH, KAUFMAN, SMITH, WRIGHT, PINDER, LUCICH, CABLE, BARRET, WILSON, MONTERICHARD, & BRINOLE

Looking information about the Cato (Catto)and Gianini families in Amador County. William Catto married a Mary Gianini in Placerville on July 8, 1862. They had a least on son by the name of Frank Catto who married Almina Ekel. Frank had son by the name of George who died in Plymouth on December 14, 1902. Mary Gianini father's name was a Ambrose Gianini.William Gianini was born in Switzerland on Dec 24, 1836 and died on July 23, 1915.

Frank Waldo Rice died, Sutter Creek, Dec. 26, 1919.  He is listed as a widower, aged 70.  I would like to known the name of his wife and of any child.  He was born ca 1848 in Ohio to Edward W. Rice and Jane Culver.  His brother Charles A. Rice was born in Sutter Creek, 1853 (died Molelumne Hill, 1917).

I am looking for information on Washington HUGHES and his wife Letitia BAKER. They were in Volcano District, Amador Co. in 1860 and 1870. They were originally from MO. Wash. HUGHES first went to CA in the late 1840's with three bros-in-law to search for gold. When they returned home, they packed up their families and went back to CA via the Oregon Trail. Does anyone have any information on this family?.
