several borax deposits in DV, nominated for President in

1884 but at 62 his great organization collapsed, but man-

aged to pay all his creditors before his death, 1893

COSTELLO, Virginia - first and only postmaster of Leadville, recollects, "I opened

the office 25 Aug 1926 with mail in the racks for 200 per-

sons. Five months later only one person called for mail.
