J.H. Huston
J.H. Huston - Was horn in Callaway County, Missouri, May 3,1841. In April, 1864, he started across the plains for California with mule teams, and arrived in Lake County in November. Here he engaged in farming and speculating until 1873, when he went to Colusa County, where the same business was prosecuted for two years. He then returned to Lake County, where he has since resided. He at present resides about four miles south from Lakeport. Mr. Huston married, October 11,1871, Miss Cora L. Boggs, a native of Missouri.
