Healy, Captain Charles Tarraine and Orlean (Sweet)



He was born in Vermont in 1833 and came to California in 1854. He made the original survey of Willmore City, now Long Beach, in 1882. He lived in the first house built here and was active in the developement of this city. He married Orlena Medona Sweet and they were the parents of Maude, Alma and Blanche Medona Healy.

Maude Alma Healy married George C Flint, the son of Benjamin Flint. Benjamin Flint interested the Flint-Bixby Co. in purchasing the Rancho Los Cerritos from Juan Temple.
