Founding Families Of Long Beach
Hill, Dr. Walter B. and Rose (Medsger)
Dr. hill was born in 1875 and came to this area about 1881. He settled in Long Beach immediately upon receiving his medical degree. He married Rose M. Medsger and had a daughter Muriel Jeanne. He was long associated with the former Seaside Hospital and was president of the Board of Directors for three years. In appreciation of his many civic contributions a junior high school was named after him. Mrs. Hill stil resides in Long Beach.
