COPE - Funeral services were held today in the chapel of the H. F. Moritz Funeral Home, Montebello, for EFFIE VILLA COPE. Internment was in Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier. Mrs. Cope was born in Warsaw, MO, July 18, 1881, and died Sunday in a local hospital. She resided in California for 61 years. She was a member of the Park Ave. Christian Church, Montebello.Surviving Mrs. Cope are her husband, George; her daughter, Mrs. Cliff (Burma Rose) Peale of Santa Ana; a grandson, George Peale, of Lawrence, Kansas; three nieces, and three nephews.
