Research:
The Yolo County Archives is open for research on Tuesdays 9:00-12:00 AM and 12:30-3:00 PM. This should be your first stop for Yolo County Records. Not only do they appear to have county records covering many years, they also have newspapers, corporate records, photographs, school records, cemetery surveys, an index to WWI veterans, indexes to county histories and access through the library to City directories and Yolo county history books. The Assessor's Office records in their collection include maps from 1871-1939. There is also a collection of manuscripts. Volunteers will do research for a fee of $10.00 per hour.
We were unable to locate a genealogical society in this county.
