     I desc. from Sarah Eliz. Mary Yarbrough born 2Feb1835 in KY to John B.
     Yarbrough and Mary E. ? Have info about the other children of them and
     some desc. info.

     Sarah E. came out with her parents around 1845 to Oregon Terr. Her parents
     are buried in Josephine Co. OR.  She married Henry William Parks born 1825.
    He died in 1861, and she married  serveral more times after that. One of her
    son with Henry Parks, James Madison Parks b. 1856 near Peoria, OR was
    my line. He married Mary Alice Nichols in 1883 in Southerlin, OR and died in 1847
    at Brownsville, OR.

    Will share more Yarbrough or Parks or other family info if your interested.

     My ancestor George W. Wakefield (1854-1938)and Sarah Ann Coverdell
    (1854-1923) came out from Pickering, Nodaway co. MO around 1892, with their 4 children
     (Will (1876-1933) (married Josie Parks(1886-1970), Art (married Margaret
     McNamara), Ernest "Gus" (didn't marry), and Minnie (married Myron Stevens)
     and his parents, James W. Wakefield (1810-1906) and Helious Parsons Wakefield
     1809-1897). George bought up some land in Del Norte and the family ran
     some of the businesses around the area, including a horse race track, saloon,
     bowling alley, grocery store, candy store, photography shop and ran the
     post office. This was a stage coach stop and was really popular for a time,
     business and the area eventually died down around the 1920's-30's (the
     Mill, no more stage line, etc.) so the town called "Wakefield, CA" which
     was near Crescent City, no longer exists today, and was just absorbed into
     it.
