Methodist Episcopal Pioneer Cemetery is on Townsend just off Cedar Ravine

The Methodist Episcopal Pioneer Cemetery (sometimes called the Federated Cemetery) is in Placerville, CA. At least part of this cemetery has been moved to accommodate the new church building. In one instance a foot stone is across the yard from the head stone. This cemetery was originally listed in 1933 by Mrs. King Becker of the Sacramento chapter of the D.A.R. Some of the stones are now broken or missing letters or completely gone. I have indicated with a [*] when I use the 1933 list to fill in a gap. The stones that are now missing completely are indicated with [**]. I am not including the odd bits of verse found on some of the stones. I will send on any extra information to those who wish it.
