Services Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the George O. Klumpp mortuary
chapel at Sacramento, for Newton Weymouth, 65, a former Placerville resident. Mr. Weymouth passed away Tuesday morning at Sacramento. He had moved from Placerville to Sacramento many years ago and was employed there in the grocery business for a time. About ten years ago he was named a custodian at (article is cut, line is missing). Mr. Weymouth was a native of San Benito county and came to this county as a boy of eight or nine years. The family lived in Upper Placerville for a time and later lived in the lower section of the community. Mr. Weymouth was a member of the Placerville parlor of Native Sons and of Placerville Aeria of Eagles. The Sacramento Aerie of Eagles was to conduct the services. Cremation was planned. Deceased is survived by his wife and by one sister, Mrs. Alice Wright of Sacramento, in the immediate family. |
