John D. Kyburz, 74, holder and operator of extensive ranch properties in El Dorado and Sacramento Counties, who died early Monday morning at his home near
Clarksville, was buried in the Masonic Cemetery at Folsom following funeral
services there on Wednesday morning. Mr. Kyburz' health had been failing for several months and the end was not unexpected.
Born in Sacramento When "Dan" Kyburz and his brother, A. B. Kyburz, of Placerville, went out to bring in the cows for the night, they found them grazing in the acreage now occupied by the state capitol.
Holdings Extensive He was a member of the Masonic fraternity. Surviving are the widow, a son, George; a daughter, Mrs. Will Barton; a brother, A. B. Kyburz, and sister, Mrs. S. E. Kent, of Placerville; five grand-children, one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. |
