Death of Mrs. P.M. Dillon

The death of Josephine, wife of P.M. Dillon, last Sunday morning, came as a shock to her friends here and elsewhere. Mrs. Dillon came to Placerville with her husband in 1910, and by her personal qualities had attracted a large circle of friends, who feel deeply her passing away.

Mrs. Dillon was born in San Francisco May 24, 1873, and passed away at the age of 42 years, two months and 14 days. She was married to P.M. Dillon in Alameda June 7, 1908. She affiliated with Fallen Leaf Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, soon after her arrival here, and this organization had charge of the funeral, which took place from Masonic Temple Tuesday morning, with services by Rev. E.E. Clark, assisted by Mrs. S.H. Rantz and A.S. Fox. Friends paid the last tribute to the departed in many beautiful floral offerings, and followed to the interment in Union Cemetery.

Mrs. Dillon is survived by her husband, mother, two sisters, Mrs. Emma Moore of Gilroy, and Mrs. C.B. Hall of Alameda, and three brothers, Geo. E., and Chars. Wolfram of San Francisco, and Walter F. of San Diego.
