I am looking for information on a Nelson Adams found on page 60 of the 1850 Census book. He was listed as living on the then-Middle Fork American River, El Dorado Co., CA. Nelson Adams, who was black, and was about age 30 in the 1850 Census. I need to know if the Adams in this county is the same one. I appreciate anybody's help.
