I am researching the family, and descendents, of Frederick F. Barss and his wife J.C. The family was at Placerville, El Dorado Co., CA between 1855 and 1915. While there, they had four children: Julia (b.1855), Addie (b.1858), Frederick A. (b.1860) and William A. (b.1861). The 1892 Great Index lists Frederick and his 2 sons at Placerville. Both Fredericks were jewelers / watchmakers, and William was a farmer. Any information will be appreciated.
