I'm researching family history for the Coats family. They are descended from Francis and Susan Coval, who lived in El Dorado County long ago. They were married in 1875. Their son Edward, born 07/14/1886 was also married in that county in 1908 to Minnie Rosemond Cole. Their daughter, Viola, married Gordon W. Coats. I'd like any and all information regarding Francis and his wife, Susan. I also believe that Gordon's father, George W. Coats died in El Dorado County sometime around the turn of the century. Does anyone have information for me? Thank you.
