George Washington Compton, and wife Susan Wills, from MO, were on the 1850 El Dorado Co. census, living in Placerville. I am looking for his parents. He was b. ~1825, in OH or KY. Their children were Mary Ellen, Louise Jane, Sarah Ellen, Martha Ann, George Christopher, Wm. Alan, Thomas Lee, Charles Jacob, Susan, and Laura Adeline. Laura later m. Mr. Tucker.
