Looking for any information about the Alfred and Lucy Darling family. For many years, beginning about 1852, Alfred and Lucy lived in or around Georgetown, El Dorado County, CA. They lived at or near what was called the Darling Mine near Bear Creek. At least three of their sons, Andrew, Charles, and George, and three of their daughters, Clara, Elizabeth, and Lillian were born there. Several of their 15 children died young and are
supposedly buried in a private cemetary near Bear Creek. Any information would be greately appreciated.
