Looking for info about DUFFY, Ed, Kate,from Ireland, in Coloma in 1850's. Children were Mary b.1854 and John (Jack) b1856, both in Coloma. They were related to Patrick and Mary KANE, also from Ireland, living in Coloma for many years. The Kanes had children born in Coloma named Thomas 1855, Henry 1857, Sarah 1858, Mary Anne 1860, John 1862, Lucy 1863, George 1865, and Catherine 1868.
Also related were Bernard MARTIN and Mary MARTIN, the mother of Bernard, Mary Kane and Kate Duffy. They were all living in Coloma in the 1850's. Apparently, both Ed and Kate Duffy died c1860. Mary Duffy was raised by Ed McDonald, in Salmon Falls. I can't seem to find John, her younger brother in any census records . He died in 1937, in EDC. Mary married William Bathurst and lived in Diamond Springs for many years, giving birth to six. Interested in any DUFFY, KANE, or MARTIN connections.
