| My 2nd G Grandfather Silas Deloss Flint was buried at Pilot Hill cemetery in July 1891. He died July 3, 1891. I haven't been able to find a death certificate for him. I want to find out who his parents were. I have a copy of his Obituary which appeared in the Cool newspaper July 7, 1891. His wife Icebenda (Rogers) died in 1903 in Cool but I have no other information on her. I don't know who her parents were either. This couple had 4 children who lived in the area also. My Great Grandfather Clarence Eugene Flint and his wife Carrie Isabel (Ward) Flint. This couple had 8 children growing up in and around El Dorado County. They have all scattered and only one is still alive. Is there a County record death certificate for the late 1800's and early 1900's. I couldn't obtain those records from the California Room when I was there last year. Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this. I appreciate any help you can direct my way. | |
