Selucius Garfielde was a resident and local attorney in 1851-4. Also reported to be editor of Miner's Advocate. Elected to legislature from county in 1851 and co-author of the Compiled Laws of the State of California. He apparently lived in a hotel. Do you have any copies of the Miner's advocate? or any information regarding Selucius? Thanks and regards.
