I am trying to obtain information on a Julia Barss who was born to Frederick F. and Jane Barss in 1855 in Placerville. I have been unable to find any records birth, death, marriage or otherwise on her. I recently discovered that my uncle sent some papers and letters to the Knights Templer in Placerville and I have been in contact with them about this. Maybe there is some information in El Dorado county on her. She may have moved to San Francisco around 1870 or thereabouts. Do you know what county that would be? Thank you.
