My great grandmother, Hettie (Henrietta Staneway) HODGSON died in Shingle Springs Nov. 17, 1880 Other than this article from Mariposa Gazette, I have not been able to find a death certificate or further information.
Death of a Stockton Lady in El Dorado County
On the 17th ultimo Mrs. Hettie E. HOGDSON, wife of W. T. HOGDSON, of Stockton, died at the residence of her sister, Mrs. A. M. AYERS, at Shingle Springs, El Dorado.
Will reimburse for any expenses incurred. Thank you for volunteering.
