As the major genealogy site for Inyo County, California I believe that we have a duty to honor those heroes of preservation who have come before. We will periodically recognize those people here. For our first honoree, I have chosen Dorothy Clora Cragen. She is the author of one of the best Owens Valley history books ever written, The Boys in the Sky-Blue Pants, but she did so much more. Please join me in honoring her!
