A Dead Indian

Last Thursday morning the remains of an Indian were found about a quarter of a mile south of town, 
in a ditch by the roadside.  Investigation revealed the fact that it was an Indian who three or 
four years ago killed another in Round Valley.  As there was not sufficient water in the ditch to 
drown him, it is supposed that he was murdered by some of the tribe in revenge for the murder he 
committed in Round Valley.
