Albert F. Lemke Of Big Pine Passes Sunday Afternoon BIG PINE - Albert F. Lemke, 73, died at Northern Inyo hospital Sunday afternoon following a long period of poor health. Lemke, who has been a resident of Big Pine for the past three years, had mining interests in Fish Lake Valley for many years. He once owned the talc property now operated by the Lady Esther cosmetics firm. He and his wife also owned ranching property in the valley, where they made their home. Born Oct. 2, 1883, in New York, Lemke had been in poor health for several years. He was in the hospital for three days before his death. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Big Pine community church, with Rev. Carrie Ovall officiating. Burial was in Big Pine cemetery.
