Final Rites Held for Albert Louis Sainz Rosary for Albert Louis Sainz, 53, lifetime Lone Pine resident, were said Friday night of last week at Santa Rosa Catholic Church, with Father C. Badesen of Bishop officiating. Mass was said Saturday morning at 10 a.m. at the same church by Father Jeremiah Keane, with graveside services conducted at Lone Pine cemetery by Fathers Keane and Badesen. Pallbearers were Felix Castro, Cris Carrasco, O. H. Honerlah, Louis Jobin, Pete Olivas, Orie Dearborn, all of Lone Pine. Sainz died suddenly about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3 when he was stricken by a heart attack at Lone Pine post office. He was born Aug. 19, 1899 in Lone Pine and attended the town's elementary school and was a graduate of Lone Pine Union High School. He is survived by two sons Don K. Sainz of Lone Pine, and Ronnie A. Sainz of Bakersfield; four sisters, Lena Pamel, Mercy Hulsey; and Nora Swift, all of Lone Pine, and Amelia Williams of Los Angeles; and a brother Cruz of Central Point, Ore.
