Aleck Jacobs

Funeral services were held May 27, for Aleck Lewis Jacobs, of Bishop, following his death May 25 at Northern 
Inyo Hospital.  He was 89.

The Rev. Kenneth Moore of the First United Methodist Church, and officials of the American Legion, officiated 
at the service, held at Pioneer cemetery.

Mr. Jacobs was born August 28, 1880, in Marianna, Fla.

He is survived by two sons, Leonard Jacobs, Needles.  He was preceded in death by his son, Aubrey Jacobs, 
Kingman, Ariz.

Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Jay Ervin of Bishop and Mrs. Faye Wallace of Bishop, 12 grandchildren 
and 15 great-grandchildren.
