Earl D. Hillis under the auspices of the Rebekah Lodge of which Mrs. Levison had been a member for many years. Burial was in the Pioneer cemetery. Mrs. Levison had many friends in Inyo County who loved her for her sunny disposition ad Sterling worth. In spite of many vicissitudes during the last years she spent in the valley she was uncomplaining and always presented a happy mien to the world. Her cheerful example has brought courage and hope to many downcast friends. Mrs. Levison passed away September 14, at the home of Mrs. O. W. Larson, in Petaluma, after an illness of about three weeks. Alethea Prudence Levison was born in Ohio April 17, 1856, and lived in Lebanon until her marriage. Both husband and son passed away leaving her alone. Her home for many years following her husband's death was at Hot Springs, Ark. In 1909 she married Isaac L.
