Alfred John Baptist Giraud
1924 - 2003

Graveside services will be held Friday, Oct. 24 at 11 a.m. at West Line Street Cemetery in Bishop for Alfred 
John Baptist Giraud, 79.  Pastor David Stramel of the Seventh-day Adventist Church will officiate.  Interment 
is to follow at the West line Street Cemetery.

Additionally, a family viewing is being held today, Oct. 23, from noon-5 p.m. at the Brune & Buck Mortuary 
Chapel in Bishop.

Born in Bishop on Jan. 30, 1924, Alfred died Oct. 20, 2003 at Washoe Progress Care Center in Reno, Nev.  He 
was a life-long Bishop resident.

Alfred is survived by wife of 37 years, Irene Giraud of Bishop; stepchildren, Gale Farley, Ron Farley, Sandra 
Nichols and Nina Brown; nephews, John Corwin and Ben Vassar, Jr.; nieces Jackie Corwin Griffis and Linda 
Vassar Maples; and grandnephews and grandnieces.
