Allen W. Voorhis
1925 - 2003

Funeral services are private for Bishop resident Allen W. Voorhis, 78.

Born in Los Angeles on January 25, 1925, Mr. Voorhis died on July 5, 2003, at 
Northern Inyo Hospital in Bishop.

Allen was a mechanical engineer and worked in the aerospace industry.  He and 
his wife traveled all over the world.

He is survived by wife, Marilyn Voorhis of Bishop; sons and daughters-in-law, 
Mark and Ann Voorhis of Tustin, Chris and Carol Voorhis of Costa Mesa, Milo and 
Leslie Voorhis of Los Olivos and Bob and Karen Voorhis of Santa Ynez; nine 
grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Interment will be private.
