Allyn Leroy Fisher

Memorial services for 20-year Bishop resident Allyn Leroy 
Fisher, 94, will be held on Saturday, Jan. 11, at the First 
Presbyterian Church (585 N. Main St.) in Bishop at 11 a.m. 
Pastor Dan Willson will officiate. Additionally, following 
the service, family and friends are invited to the home of 
his granddaughter, Margie Hooker.

Mr. Fisher died on Jan. 4, 2003 at the Bishop Care Center.

Allyn will be remembered for his compassion of life and 
love of the Sierra region. His source of strength were his 
religious beliefs and sense of humor. He enjoyed fishing, 
oil painting, music, and being with his family.

He retired with his wife to Bishop 20 years ago to be near 
one of his daughters.

Allyn is survived by daughters, Patricia Coleman of Bishop 
and Linda Arnold of Chino Hills; son-in-law, Walter Coleman; 
five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice of 
the Owens Valley.
