Bernice H. Etcharren

Bernice H. Etcharren, 85, a Lone Pine resident for 41 
years, died Monday at Southern Inyo Hospital.

Mrs. Etcharren retired in 1960 after serving 12 years 
as director of nurses at Southern Inyo.  

Mrs. Etcharren was born in Illinois on May 5, 1905.

She was the wife of Theodore Etcharren of Lone Pine 
and the aunt of William Largent of Atlanta and Robert 
Largent of Australia.

Visitation will be Wednesday between 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. 
at Owens Valley Mortuary.  Services will be held 
Thursday at 11 a.m. at the mortuary chapel.  Officers 
of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars 
will officiate.

Burial with full military honors will follow at Mt. 
Whitney Cemetery.
