Services were held in Ventura on Oct. 23 for independence resident Bessie lee 
McClellan.  A graveside burial service will be held in Mojave on Tuesday, Oct. 
26.  Services in Independence will be announced at a later date.

Born in 1916, Bessie died Oct. 18, 2004.  She was the daughter of Independence 
resident Jeanie Clair.
