Funeral Services Held Tuesday for Buna Luvene Brown

Funeral services were held in Lone Pine Tuesday afternoon for Mrs. Buna Luvene 
Brown who died at the Southern Inyo Hospital January 30.

Mrs. Brown was born in Tennessee September 23, 1892 and had been living in Lone 
Pine.

She is survived by the following sons and daughters:  Mrs. Ruth Lee, Chactau, 
Okla., Mrs. Katheryn Dawson, Independence, Mr. Jessie Browne of Bow, Wash, 
Mrs. Estelle Moore, Bishop, Mr. Leonard Brown of Oklahoma City, Mrs. Sarah 
Castleman, Memphis, Tenn., Mrs. Mayme Drew, Lone Pine, Mrs. Lurlene Drew of 
Mojave, Mr. Wallace Brown Bellflower.  She is also survived by a brother, Robert 
Boyd of San Bernardino, a sister Mayme Hall of Alabama, 25 grandchildren and 12 
great-great-grandchildren as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
