Carrol Van Tassell

Private memorial services will be held at a later date for Carrol Van Tassell, who 
died at her Bishop home on Sept. 6 at the age of 66.

Mrs. Van Tassell was born on March 26, 1926 in Boise, Idaho.  She had lived in 
Bishop for one month, after moving from Los Angeles County.

She was a member of the Pythian Sisters, Table Rock Temple, Lodge #8 in Boise, 
and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband, Everett Van Tassell of Bishop; sons and daughters-
in-law Randy and Chris Van Tassell of Bishop, John and Kathy Van Tassell of La 
Puente, and Tom and Charlotte Van Tassell of Wilbur, Ore.; daughter, Barbara 
and her husband Forde Laurin of Santa Paula; granddaughters, Autumn Van 
Tassell, Lanissa Summer Laurin, and Starlene Amy Laurin.
