Funeral Services Held Monday For Caroline McLaren Funeral services were held at the Don Talmage Chapel Monday morning of this week for Mrs. Caroline McLaren, Inyo county pioneer, who died June 21 at Bishop following a lengthy illness. Mrs. McLaren was born April 30, 1866, at Arkell, Ontario, Canada, and had been a resident of Inyo County for the past 60 years. She is survived by a granddaughter, Mrs. Mary Klieforth of Bishop, two great grandchildren, David and Robert Klieforth; one nephew, Harry Guppy of San Francisco, three nieces, Eileen Berger of Concord, Calif., Vashi Guppy and Muriel Weir, both of Canada. Officiating at the services were the Rev. Howard Rosine and the Rev. Lossie Spear. Dorothy Craig was the organist at the services and Belva Van Loon sang two selections. Pallbearers were Bill Partridge, H. A. Van Loon, Charles Cartmell, Dan Bromley, Don Beauregard, and Harry Billerman. Four honorary pallbearers included Delmar James, George Diebert, Lester Buck and Joe Mertel. Interment was at the family plot at the Pioneer Cemetery.
