Funeral For Charles Matlick Held Saturday Funeral services were held Saturday of last week at the Blake Funeral Chapel for Charles F. Matlick, 68, who passed away at the Northern Inyo Hospital Thursday, April 5. Mr. Matlick was born in Bishop on January 31, 1888 and had lived here all of his life. He has been a rancher for many years. Funeral services were held at the Chapel under the direction of the Rev. Landless Shannon and interment was in the family plot at the Pioneer cemetery. Mr. Matlick was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Matlick, early Owens Valley pioneers and was born on the Matlick ranch. He was married January 28, 1914 to Miss Lenna Campbell. They built their home and resided on the family ranch. His wife passed away July 10, 1949. Charles Matlick is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Grace Wofford, son Charles, two grandchildren, Carol and Donald Wofford, and two brothers, Edwin S. and Harry G.
