Funeral Services Held Tuesday for Charles Thomas Pitts

Final rites were held at the Don Talmage Chapel Tuesday morning of this week for Charles Thomas 
Pitts long time resident of the area who died June 22 at this home at Bishop following a lengthy 
illness.

Mr. Pitts had been employed by the Dept. of Water and Power for the past 30 years and had been a 
resident of Inyo county for 35 years.

He is survived by his wife Irene, two brothers, James E. Pitts of Henderson, Nev., and Bert A. 
Pitts of Mesa, Ariz., and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services were conducted by the Rev. Howard Rosine and interment was at the family plot at the 
Pioneer Cemetery.
