Charles William "Chuck" Robinson 1917-2003 Memorial services will be held for former Bishop resident Charles William "Chuck" Robinson, 86 on Wednesday, Sept. 3 at the Grimes Community Church in Grimes, at 2 p.m. Additionally, visitation will be held from Tuesday, Sept. 2 at the McNary-Moore Chapel in Colusa from 5-7 p.m. Born Jan. 28, 1917 in Orange, Mr. Robinson died on Aug. 27, 2003 at his home in Colusa. A Colusa County resident for the past 30 years, Chuck once lived in Bishop. He was a livestock rancher for 65 years. Since his retirement in 1991, golfing has been Chuck's great passion. He also enjoyed traveling and being in the outdoors. A member of the Grimes Community Church, Chuck also volunteered his time with the Colusa County Volunteer Citizen Service Unit. He is survived by wife of 64 years, Malinda Robinson of Colusa; sons, Jeff Robinson and wife Merrie of Fallon, Nev., Steve Robinson and wife Marsha of Hanford, Conn., and Bruce Robinson and wife Susan of Quincy; sister, Frances Underwood of Sun City; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made in his behalf to the Grimes Community Church at P. O. Box 35, Grimes, CA, 95950.
