Corabelle Lewis Albright 1914 - 2003 Former Owens Valley resident Corabelle Lewis Albright died May 3, 2003 at home with her family in McCall, Idaho. A native Californian, Corabelle Lewis Albright was born to Pearl Annetta and Charles Lewis in Pasadena, on July 17, 1914. She lived in Big Pine for many years and had many favorite friends in the Owens Valley. She lived the last six years in McCall. Corabelle was a strong supporter of the Eastern Sierra League of Women Voters, and in earlier years had taken part in its studies. She was educated at the University of California's Berkeley and Riverside campuses, and the University of Southern California. Her career as a librarian continued her love of literature and helped her bring that to others. She was married to Rex Thomas Albright and was the mother of Charles Stewart Albright and Marlene Albright Bailey. Her home in Idaho was with her daughter and son-in-law, Donald Claude Bailey, and her grandson, Timothy James Bailey. The family appreciates the loving care given by professionals in the community and the gift of stimulating friendships among those she knew.
