David A. Cumming There will be no services at this time for nine-year Bishop resident David A. Cummings, 61,though a celebration of his life will be held in March at the Bishop City Park. Born in Santa Barbara on March 23, 1941, Mr. Cumming died on Nov. 7 at his home in Bishop. After retiring from Foremost Dairies in Santa Barbara, and living in Carpinteria for 25 years, David and his wife Nancy moved to Bishop, California, nine years ago. David worked the last seven years for the City of Bishop in park maintenance, and he also had his own gardening business in Highlands Mobile Home Park. David will be remembered for his sense of humor, delight in others old and young, and love of the outdoors. He will be missed by his family, many friends, and especially his wife. He is survived by wife, Nancy; children, Lori, Steve, Jim and wife Mary, Jeff and wife Liann, and Jenna and husband Nathan; and grandchildren, Madison, Lexi, Indica, Izaak and many others that loved him as their "papa." The family thanks everyone for their many thoughtsul expressions of sympathy, and said that they are appreciated. If you would like to be notified of the date of the celebration of life, contact Nancy.
