Informal graveside services will be held Nov. 12 at 1 p.m. at the East Line Street Cemetery in Bishop for 
longtime local resident Dolores M. Thorson.

Born in 1929 as Dolores M. Leavitt, she died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2003 at her home in Chalfant Valley 
surrounded by friends and family.

Dolores, a 44-resident of the Bishop area, was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Roy; son, Ronald Joe; 
and mother, Ida Opel Leavitt.

She is survived by her father, Asa Leavitt; brothers, Keith and Jerry Leavitt; sister, Donna Johanson; sons, 
David Patrick and Rodney Laine; and four grandchildren.
