Donald E. Miller Donald E. (Tuffy) Miller of Redondo Beach died Thursday, Jan. 14, after a lengthy illness. Mr. Miller was born in Gardnerville, Nev. In 1916. In his early years he resided in the Keeler area and was a 1936 graduate of Lone Pine High School. "Tuffy" was a World War II veteran, serving in the United States Navy. Mr. Miller had resided in Redondo Beach for the past 22 years. He is survived by his wife, Mary, and three sisters, Lauretta Gray of Oakland, Thelma Roebuck of Nevada, and Mabel Davis of San Francisco, and numerous nieces and nephews. Rosary was recited for Mr. Miller at White and Day Colonial Chapel in Redondo Beach on Friday, Jan. 15 and graveside services were held at Pacific Crest Cemetery in Redondo Beach on Saturday, Jan. 16.
