Donna Adelle Blamer Grant

Memorial services will be held in Claremont tomorrow for Donna Adelle Blamer Grant,
86, who died Jan. 17, 2003 at the Claremont Manor Care Center.

Born June 3, 1916 in Independence, Iowa, Donna lived in Monrovia prior to moving to 
Pomona in 1939, then to Bishop in 1978, and to Claremont two years ago. She was a 
member of the Pomona Valley Business and Professional Women, Red Hill Country 
Club and the Northern Inyo Hospital Auxiliary.

The joy of her life was her family: three daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Don 
Verburg of Big Bear Lake, Jean and Mike Smith of Claremont, and Joan and Dave
Kolde of Alta Loma; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; two nieces and three 
nephews.

The family wishes to thank the Claremont Manor Care Center, Inland Hospice and Dr. 
Kenneth Brown "for their extraordinary and loving care."

Services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. tomorrow at the Todd Memorial Chapel in 
Claremont. Private committal will be made.

In lieu of flowers, family says that memorial contributions may be sent to: 
Northern Inyo Hospital Auxiliary, 150 Pioneer Lane, Bishop, CA 93514.
