Dwight Hammond

Funeral services were held Monday in Big Pine for Dwight D. Hammond of Big Pine, following his death June 20 at 
the Inyo County sanatorium.  He was 81.

Dr. M. Carson Miles, pastor of the Big Pine Community Methodist Church conducted the service at Big Pine 
cemetery.

He was a former game warden, undersheriff and cattle rancher in Sheridan, Wyo.

He is survived by his wife Bessie, of Big Pine, five brothers and two sisters.
