Funeral Services Held Monday for Edith C. Anderson

Mrs. Edith C. Anderson, widow of the late Dr. Chas. Anderson of Bishop, passed 
away last Thursday morning at the Northern Inyo hospital following lengthy illness 
at the age of 72.

Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon of this week at the St. 
Timothy's Episcopal church with the Rev. Carlton Sweetser officiating, aided by 
young Kenny McMullen.  Since Dr. Anderson's death in April of last year, she had 
been living at her residence at 769 West Elm St. with her nephew Peter Gibson.

Mrs. Anderson, born in Canada in 1880 is survived by a sister, Mrs. Eleanor 
Gibson, Mrs. Jack Vargas, a niece; Ned Gibson, Pat Gibson and Seaton Gibson, 
nephews, and Mrs. Everett McMullen, a niece.

Pallbearers were Nick Mandich, Sr., E. J. Morrison, Douglas Joseph, Dr. C. L. 
Scott, Wilfred Partridge, and Jack Wegforth.
