Edna Muriel Browning Allen
1909 - 2003

Edna Muriel Browning Allen born July 7, 1909 in San Francisco, died October 9, 2003.

She leaves behind her beloved husband of 61 years, Perry Allen.

Edna was a member of the Contra Costa Hills Hiking Club, where she met Perry in 1941.  They were married in 1942. 

Edna went to school and college and taught science in San Francisco for 34 years.  In 1961, she and Perry moved to Bishop.  She was a member of the Northern Inyo Hospital Auxiliary for nine years, and also reported scores for Perry's bowling league.

In addition to her husband, Edna is also survived by two nieces, Mary Martin and Barbara Mann.
