Edward A. Vernon

Funeral services were held Oct. 29 for Edward A. Vernon, 
a lifetime resident of Mono County, following his death 
Oct. 26 in Bridgeport.  He was 66.

The Rev. Bruce Pearson of the Bridgeport Baptist Church 
officiated at the service, held at the Bridgeport 
Community Church.  Burial was in Bridgeport Cemetery.

Mr. Vernon was born July 22, 1917 in Fort Garland, CO.

He is survived by his wife, LaRue Vernon of Wellington, 
NV; one daughter, Merveen Rogers of Blythe, CA, and two 
grandchildren, James and Laurel Rogers.
