Elizabeth "Betty" Shrontz

Funeral services were held Feb. 15 for Elizabeth "Betty" Shrontz, 
of Bishop, following her death February 13 at Northern Inyo 
Hospital.  She was 77.

Pastor George F. Duerr of the Grace Lutheran Church officiated at 
the service, held at graveside.  Burial was in East Line Street 
Cemetery.

Mrs. Shrontz was born Oct. 39, 1906 in Oakland, CA.

She is survived by her husband, Earl T. Shrontz of Bishop; two 
daughters, Junita Hite of Colorado and Katherine Keesler of 
Bishop; one sister, Mary Jane Lentz of San Jose, CA; eight 
grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and one great-
great grandchild.
